TERRYCLOTH TOWELS, BATHROBES, AND BATH MATS
Terrycloth is a type of looped fabric, usually made of cotton, with a high capacity for moisture absorption, making it ideal for bathroom use. At Lejaan, we sew towels— hand towels and bath towels, unisex bathrobes, and practical bath mats from this fabric.
Regarding hand towels, in addition to classic cotton ones, we also offer those made from premium cotton, organic cotton, or a blend of cotton and hemp fabric.

HOW AND WHEN TO WASH TERRYCLOTH
To ensure color fastness and maintain the original quality of terrycloth products, we recommend washing them separately from other items (bedding or clothes) and separating white, light, and dark items.
To eliminate all bacteria, we recommend washing terrycloth at 60°C and using milder or eco-friendly detergents, always in appropriate doses. Try to avoid using washing powders, disinfectants, or other substances containing bleaches, brighteners, benzoyl peroxide, or alpha-hydroxy acids. Also, avoid fabric softeners. These products strip terrycloth of its softness and absorbency.
Bath mats require the most frequent washing, as they are most susceptible to the growth of harmful bacteria. The frequency of washing towels and bathrobes depends on their usage and personal preferences. However, if a towel has been used in a swimming pool and came into contact with chlorinated water, it should be washed as soon as possible.
We recommend washing terrycloth with a mild detergent at 60°C.
DRYING
When drying terrycloth products, care must be taken with moisture. Try to air out the room and do not leave wet products crumpled or rolled up to allow air circulation, thus preventing bacterial growth. If you choose to tumble dry, select a delicate program and a low or medium temperature. Only then will towels or bathrobes remain as soft and absorbent as possible. Ironing is not necessary in this case.
Do you feel that your terrycloth products are not as soft when dried without a tumble dryer? Give them a short tumble dryer program without heat. A proven trick that works wonders.

STORING TERRYCLOTH PRODUCTS AND A FEW PRACTICAL TIPS
Terrycloth products should be stored folded or hung in a place that is not too humid. Only hang terrycloth items by the loop to prevent the fabric from tearing over time.
Has your product been washed with an unsuitable detergent, making the terrycloth strangely stiff? No problem. Simply wash it in warm water, and the stiffness should disappear.
If you notice loose loops or fibers, don't hesitate to cut them. This will not harm the product in any way.
