INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA provided in accordance with Article 12 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulation" or "GDPR").

2. WHERE DO WE OBTAIN DATA FROM AND WHAT CATEGORIES OF DATA DO WE PROCESS?

We process data that you provide to us directly (e.g., when placing an order, registering an account, or subscribing to the newsletter) and data collected automatically when you use our website.


  • Identification and contact data: name, surname, delivery address, billing address, email address, phone number.

  • Transaction data: order history, bank account number, payment details.

  • Automatically collected data (electronic): IP address, cookies, browser and device data, history of products viewed in our store.

3. WHY DO WE PROCESS DATA? (PURPOSES, LEGAL BASIS, AND PERIOD)

In accordance with the principle of transparency, we explain in detail below why and on what basis we process your personal data:

A. Order fulfilment and execution of the sales contract

  • Purpose: Processing the order, shipping goods, handling payments, informing about shipment status.

  • Legal basis: Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Providing data is necessary for concluding the contract.

  • Storage period: For the duration of the contract, and then until the expiry of the limitation period for claims (usually 3 years).

B. Customer account management

  • Purpose: Enabling registration, order management, and facilitating future purchases.

  • Legal basis: Your consent and performance of the contract for the provision of electronic services.

  • Storage period: Until the user deletes the account or withdraws consent.

C. Customer service, complaints, and returns

  • Purpose: Answering questions asked by email/phone, resolving problems, handling the statutory right of withdrawal from the contract, and complaints.

  • Legal basis: Fulfilment of a legal obligation (complaints, returns) and our legitimate interest in building good customer relations.

  • Storage period: For the period necessary to process the request, and in the case of complaints/returns, for the period required by law.

D. Accounting and tax obligations

  • Purpose: Issuing invoices and maintaining accounting records in accordance with regulations.

  • Legal basis: Fulfilment of a legal obligation imposed on the Controller (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

  • Storage period: For the period required by tax and accounting laws (typically 10 years from the end of the settlement period).

E. Marketing activities, newsletter, and "abandoned cart"

  • Purpose: Sending information about new products, promotions, and reminders about unfinished purchases (abandoned cart).

  • Legal basis: Your voluntary consent (e.g., newsletter subscription) or our legitimate interest in direct marketing to our existing customers.

  • Storage period: Until consent is withdrawn or an objection to marketing activities is raised. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the link in the message.

F. Analytics and website personalization

  • Purpose: Analyzing traffic on www.lejaan.pl, improving its functionality, and displaying personalized ads (including on third-party websites).

  • Legal basis: Your consent expressed through cookie settings and our legitimate interest.

  • Storage period: Depending on the lifecycle of a specific cookie or until browser settings are changed/consent is withdrawn.

4. WHO ARE THE RECIPIENTS OF YOUR DATA?

To ensure the highest quality of service, we cooperate with trusted partners. Your data may be transferred to the following categories of recipients (processors) with whom we have concluded appropriate agreements:

  • Payment operators (payment gateways): to process payments for orders.

5. TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA (EEA)

Regardless of the above, a complaint may also be directed to our leading authority in the Czech Republic: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (ÚOOÚ) in Prague (www.uoou.cz).

I acknowledge that the withdrawal of Consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing of personal data carried out on the basis of Consent before its withdrawal, and that the withdrawal of Consent does not affect the processing of personal data for purposes other than those indicated above and for a legal reason (e.g., order fulfilment) other than the processing carried out on the basis of the withdrawn Consent.
