For us, sustainability is not just a fleeting trend, but a real value reflected in everything we do. What specific steps are we taking towards a more sustainable world?

TIMELESS COLLECTIONS

All our products are designed with quality craftsmanship and colors that never go out of style in mind. Lejaan's creative director, Jana Hučíková, prioritizes the timelessness of our bed linen collections from the initial selection of shades. "We choose bed linen colors in such a way that they can be combined. You don't have to buy whole sets; you can mix and match and buy individual pillowcases."

SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS

Czech seamstresses sew Lejaan bed linen from natural materials, such as certified organic cotton or lyocell from eucalyptus wood.

NO BUTTONS OR ZIPPERS

Our collections are sewn in a way that avoids unnecessary plastic production. That's why, instead of jamming zippers and hard buttons, we use fastenings inspired by hotel solutions. The wonder called a hotel flap works just as well as other fastenings, but unlike plastic, it will serve "trouble-free" for years. The duvet stays in place, and our bed linen – by eliminating buttons and zippers – is also completely biodegradable.

As part of our journey towards sustainability, we designed Lejaanki - textile bags that we sew from fabric scraps. This way, we don't waste excellent materials, while also producing practical accessories for everyday use.

LEJAAN PACKAGING

Our packaging is FSC-certified, which confirms that it is made from materials sourced from sustainably managed forests. The eco-friendly packaging option is 100% recyclable. We use paper tape to seal the boxes.

PRODUCTION

The textiles used in the production of all bed linen collections have international certificates, guaranteeing that the entire production process – from the first to the last step – meets strict criteria. No chemicals can be used at any stage (cultivation, harvesting, dyeing), meaning Leejan collections are free from pesticides, heavy metals, and other harmful substances.

We view sustainability as a way to slow down, reduce consumption, and protect natural resources, thus setting the direction production should take. We believe that we can grow as a brand by extending product life cycles, promoting timeless products, and reducing waste and harm to the natural environment.
