You no longer have to choose between a clear conscience and comfort. Opt for our flagship material - TENCEL Lyocell™. It is so innovative that you have to pay it some attention.

TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres are produced similarly to, for example, viscose or modal. Cellulose is made from shredded wood, which is then heated and dissolved in lukewarm water. The resulting pulp is used to create thin fibres, which are twisted into yarns and wound onto spools to then be woven into fabric. In short - something between a chemical experiment and modern magic.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND SKIN-FRIENDLY

The raw material used for production comes from sustainably managed forests, and the entire production process relies on renewable energy sources. The fibres are 100% biodegradable, so from the first woodchip to your bedroom, they are environmentally friendly.

Lejaan co-owner Jan is also a strong advocate of TENCEL™ Lyocell: "The fibres are processed in a closed loop, so all substances created during production are preserved and reused. This minimises waste, and water consumption is even twenty times lower than during cotton production."

WHY SHOULD YOU GIFT YOUR BEDROOM TENCEL™ LYOCELL?

TENCEL™ Lyocell is a fully natural material ideal for bedding production. It is flexible, breathable, incredibly soft, and gentle even on the most sensitive skin. Microscopic fibres are produced to regulate absorption in such a way as to immediately wick away moisture, thereby ensuring comfort during sleep. TENCEL™ Lyocell absorbs twice as much moisture as cotton and also has natural antibacterial properties, preventing the growth of microorganisms.

Its unique properties offer benefits all year round: double thermoregulation guarantees warmth in colder months and pleasant cooling in summer.

Quiet Jungle

All Lejaan products are designed with quality craftsmanship and timeless colours in mind. By choosing TENCEL™ Lyocell, you opt for a material with unique properties that will last for years. However, if you decide to part with it, you should know that collections made from lyocell and cotton can be safely composted, as they will decompose down to the last thread.

You can enjoy the magical properties of lyocell in the form of white Quiet Jungle bedding, green-grey Jane's Weekend, light brown Cosy Sunday, pink Never Too Late, brick-coloured Grandma’s House, and other collections available on our website.
