About us

Sleep is a ritual for us

The vision that has accompanied the brand from the very beginning is permeated by a commitment to quality, timeless design, and sustainability. The main inspiration for Lejaan bedding is the unique feeling you get when you experience the comfort of a luxurious hotel bed. Behind every inch of fabric, you will find deeper inspiration and a related shade, which we design ourselves. We create collections of bedding and terry cloth that will transform your daily routine into a ritual.

WHAT YOU SLEEP IN MATTERS

We launched the Lejaan bedding and home textiles brand in 2020, but preparations began three years earlier. It is backed by the perfectionist demands of three friends – Marcel Gecov, Jan Kmoch and Jan Bartoš, whose names are reflected in the brand name as an anagram. They incorporated their knowledge of hotel operations, as well as architecture and design from their previous ventures, into its foundations. We create the best environment for your relaxation and home wellness.

DREAM BED LINEN MATERIALS

The grammage, structure, colour, and composition of the materials are custom-made for our brand according to our designs.

LINEN, LYOCELL AND COTTON

Linen gives the collections a matte, rustic look and durability, TENCEL™ Lyocell softens the bedding and reduces creasing, and the cotton blend makes it easy to care for. Together, these natural materials create bedding with excellent thermoregulatory properties that stays fresh for a long time and ensures maximum enjoyment of rest.

LYOCELL AND COTTON

Tencel™ Lyocell is a certified textile fiber made from cellulose. It has thermoregulatory properties, absorbs moisture well, and is less prone to creasing. In combination with cotton, it forms our signature material in bedding collections, providing exceptional softness and comfort for an irreplaceable feeling of rest.

MIX & MATCH

Innovative mix & match is our favorite system for easily coordinating all Lejaan collections. We intentionally designed the color palettes of our materials so that the shades would allow for mutual combinations. Even our e-shop is programmed to allow you to add individual covers together without having to buy entire bedding sets. We adhere to this idea with every collection. With mix & match, you get unlimited possibilities to make your bedroom or bathroom look different every time.

WITH A COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY

We use natural materials such as certified organic cotton or lyocell fiber in our production. Our packaging is FSC certified, which ensures that the packaging is made from materials from sustainably managed forests. By eliminating zippers and other metal or plastic components, Lejaan bedding is fully biodegradable.

DESIGN AND RESEARCH

All our bedding collections are created by Czech seamstresses. We chose the former Kolora textile factory in Liberec as our headquarters, thus continuing the local long-standing tradition associated with this craft. This is also why we decided to collaborate with the Faculty of Textiles at the Technical University of Liberec for research and material testing.
